A Tribe Called Quest Commemorates Phife Dawg's Birthday With Capsule Collection

A Tribe Called Quest emphatically returned from a musical hiatus with the emphatic 2016 album, We Got It From Here… Thank You. Sunday (Nov. 19), the legendary crew released a capsule collection in celebration of fallen member Phife Dawg’s 47th birthday (Nov. 20). The collection came about from a collaboration between the group and clothing brand Thread Shop, who created an assortment of fresh gear.

Main pieces from the capsule, which was teased at ComplexCon earlier in November, include a black trucker hat, a green Phife Dawg hoodie with the signature haloed stick figure, a white graphic T-shirt from The Low End Theory photo shoot and a yellow tee that reads “Beats, Rhymes + Life.”
