Chance the Rapper is no stranger to Saturday Night Live -- he's performed on the show more than once. But on Saturday (Nov. 18), Chano returned to studio 8H for his debut gig as the show's host.

"I've been here before as a musical guest," he said, "but this is the first time I've had to... talk and stuff. We'll see how it goes."

The Chicago native continued to explain how there are no good Thanksgiving songs, and called out Mariah Carey for so clearly dominating Christmas every year with her timeless hit "All I Want For Christmas Is You."

Just then, the music slowly picked up, and soon enough Chance had traded "talking and stuff" for a comedic, hand-clapping ode to Thanksgiving -- with Kate McKinnon and Cecily Strong on backup vocals.
