Nas' 1996 LP 'It Was Written' album got a Big Baller Brand makeover.

Lonzo Ball is only 10 games deep into his NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers, but he is already one of the most talked about players in the league, thanks in part to his father, LaVar Ball, and their family's Big Baller Brand.

Ball launched his ZO2 apparel collection over the weekend (Nov. 4 and Nov. 5) at ComplexCon in Los Angeles, which included a shirt that superimposed his face on Nas' famous 1996 It Was Written album cover.

This is a bit of a mixed message from the Ball family, seeing as Lonzo has made waves in the hip-hop world over the past few months by voicing his preference for newer rappers like 21 Savage over the legendary Queens MC -- most recently clarifying his comments to ESPN's Cari Champion.

"We really need to get into this conversation," Champion said from the driver's seat in a video made for Uninterrupted. "21 Savage versus Nas."

"Versus Nas?" Lonzo responded. "Why is it better? Because the times have changed. Back then, people focused on lyrics and stuff -- 21's music, you got Metro on the beat. I mean, 10 times out of 10 that's gonna be a fire song."
