Fetty Wap was arrested by New York City police in the early hours of Friday morning (Nov. 3), according to TMZ. The New Jersey native was pulled over on the Gowanus Expressway in Brooklyn, NY. Fetty was allegedly found cruising at over 100 MPH in a 50 MPH zone drag-racing another driver in the area.

Later, he reportedly offered up an expired driver’s license and failed a sobriety test where the 26-year-old blew a .09 B.A.C. level, which is just above the legal limit. Police report the “Trap Queen” artist was driving a 2015 Mercedes-Benz. TMZ says Fetty was hit with 15 charges in all including D.W.I., illegal signaling, driving without a valid driver’s license and following too closely, but is expected to be processed and released Friday morning (Nov. 3).

The “My Way” star posted to his Instagram account Thursday night (Nov. 2) hanging with friends at an unknown Exxon Mobil gas station. Billboard has reached out to the 72nd precinct and Fetty Wap’s reps for comment.
