In a matter of two years, GoldLink blossomed from a XXL Freshman into a Platinum-selling star. The success of his monstrous single, "Crew," has landed the DC native his first Platinum plaque. To celebrate his latest success, he posted a picture with his new hardware on Instagram

"Black men for the win," he wrote. "Crew' is officially Platinum as of today and I couldn't have done it without the RCA family and the fans. Ima be clapping the fuck down in Brooklyn tonight to celebrate."

GoldLink's success of "Crew" wasn't a one-man job. Budding R&B crooner Brent Faiyaz sprinkled his magic and provided an inescapable hook, while DC's Shy Glizzy chipped in with a smooth verse of his own. GoldLink's "Crew" even earned the remix treatment, as Gucci Mane bolstered the song's appeal with a poignant verse. In terms of the Billboard Hot 100, "Crew" peaked at No. 45.
