Post Malone was in St. Louis, Mo., on Sunday night (Sept. 24) performing his new 21 Savage-assisted single "Rockstar" -- revealed on Monday (Sept. 25) to be debuting at No. 2 on this week's Billboard Hot 100. All was fine and well until Post attempted a stage dive.

After the breakout hip-hop artist jumped from the stage -- attempting to live up to the status of his new smash's title -- nobody in the audience bothered to catch him. Undaunted, Post gathered himself and his mic and continued his performance while lying on the venue floor.

He tweeted after the show: "felt like jack black in school of rock tonight when i staged dived and nobody caught my fat ass. wish i had lil uzi body."

Fan responses to this tweet occupied Post's mentions and offered proof as to why his stage dive resulted in a belly flop -- everyone was too busy recording the moment to participate in it.

"Rockstar" is said to be off of Post's upcoming album, to be titled Beerbongs and Bentleys.
