Playboi Carti and Lil Uzi Vert perform at night one of the 2017 BET Experience Staples Center Concert, sponsored by Hulu, at Staples Center on June 22, 2017 in Los Angeles.

Playboi Carti notched one of his first entries on the Billboard Hot 100 with the Lil Uzi Vert-assisted “wokeuplikethis*,” which peaked at No. 76 in June. Now, it seems the rappers may join forces yet again for a full-length mixtape.

Carti teased the project on Snapchat over the weekend, posting a photo of Captain Sensible and Dave Vanian of ‘70s London punk stalwarts The Damned with the caption, “Carti Uzi Tape * Uzi Carti Tape * 16.29.” The digits reference both rappers’ hometowns: Uzi grew up on the 1600 block of Philadelphia, while Carti grew up on the 2900 block of Atlanta.

Anticipation for a full-length Uzi/Carti collaboration has reached a fever pitch, as both rappers have enjoyed major profile boosts this year. It would serve as further momentum for Carti, whose eponymous debut mixtape peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 in April and spawned the Top 40 single, “Magnolia.” Uzi, on the other hand, could enjoy a victory lap after his debut studio album, Luv is Rage 2, topped the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this month.
