Post Malone seems to be aligning himself with some of music's rising acts. After teaming up with breakout stars SZA and Khalid for a remix Lorde's "Homemade Dynamite," Malone kicked off the promotion for his forthcoming sophomore album Beerpongs and Bentleys with a new track titled "rockstar" featuring 21 Savage, which finds the pair bragging about their extravagant lifestyles.

Malone's single opens with eerie piano chords and a sinister laugh and just as an airy sound sweeps over the melody, the song transforms into a rhythmic trap beat, laced with a booming bassline. Posty's auto-tuned, rap-sing flow connects with the beat as he shouts out fellow self-proclaimed "rockstar" Lil Uzi Vert in the catchy hook."I've been fucking hoes and poppin' pillies man, I feel just like a rockstar/ All my brothers got that gas and they always be smoking like a Rasta/ Fucking with me, call upon a Uzi and show up, man them the shottas," Malone sings as Savage provides his ad-libs.

Next up, Savage boasts about his life as a "rockstar" and climbing Billboard's Hot 100 chart. "Living like a rockstar, smash out on a cop car/ Sweeter than a Pop-Tart, you know you are not hard," Savage raps. "I done made the Hot chart, 'member I used to trap hard/ Living like a rockstar, I'm living like a rockstar."

Malone first teased Beerbongs and Bentleys back in December, just weeks after his debut album Stoney was released. Beerbongs was originally supposed to drop last June but was pushed back and is expected to arrive within the coming months.
