On Tuesday (Sept. 12), a multitude of celebrities including Beyoncé, Drake and more anchored a spirited Hand-in-Hand Telethon which reeled in $44 million. Though he wasn't there in attendance, Jeezy made sure to provide his services to those affected by the torturous winds of Hurricane Harvey.

On Friday (Sept. 8), Jeezy aided Trae Tha Truth's Hurricane Harvey relief efforts by donating a whopping 50,000 bottles of water. In conjunction with his purified water company, Defiance Fuel, Jeezy had two trucks deliver the cases to the city of Houston. Congresswoman Shelia Jackson and Trae were both on hand to distribute the cases of water to the local residents.

“I am praying for all those affected by the storm,” Jeezy states in a press release. “Houston is one of my favorite cities and I will help those in need however I can at this time.”

“From Defiance Fuel to the very heart of everyone hurt by the storm, be certain of one thing…we stand with you Houston,” says Defiance Fuel president Brian Burgdorf.

On Tuesday, Trae thanked Jeezy for his generosity on Instagram. "One Time Fo My Bro @jeezy I Appreciate You Sendin Them 18 Wheelers Of Water G... Any & Everything Count---- Luv!!! The City & Myself Are Greatful G!!," he wrote.

In 2013, Congresswoman Shelia Jackson honored The Snowman with a Certificate of Congressional Recognition for his philanthropic contributions to the city of Houston.
