Lil B Offers Free Guest Verses to Florida Rappers Affected by Hurricane Irma
Lil B has been in a very giving mood in 2017. After liberating his elusive Black Ken project last month, he showcased his altruism when Hurricane Harvey demolished the state of Texas by offering free verses to aspiring artists. With Hurricane Irma bulldozing its way through Florida, Lil B decided to spread the wealth and provide free verses to those affected in the Sunshine State.
"Florida I got y'all back music and and artist effected by natural disasters are getting free Lil B verses like all Texas artist," he wrote on Twitter last Friday (Sept. 8). Last month, a slew of aspiring Houston artists came in troves to take up Lil B's offer after watching their city get obliterated by Harvey. "JUST SENT U A DM #BASED GOD I REALLY NEED & WANT A VERSE ONE OF YOUR BIGGEST FANS LOST MY CAR FOR DA 2ND TIME DUE TO FLOODING IN HOUSTON," wrote one H-Town resident.
As for those crippled by Irma, appropriately 6.5 million residents were forced to leave their homes, while counties such as Miami-Dade, Collier and Lee enacted a curfew until Monday morning.
Take a look at Lil B's tweet below.
