Over the last year, Chance the Rapper has exuded selflessness through every one of his actions. On Tuesday (Aug. 29), he added an extra notch to his belt of altruism when he revealed that he would be grilling wings at Nando's newest location in Chicago for charity.

“Meet me at @NandosUSA Michigan Ave opening. I’m grilling on 9/5 @ 6pm to #SupportCPS & raise $ for @SocialWorks_Chi,” he tweeted out on Tuesday (Aug. 29). From Sept. 5 to Sept. 7, Nandos will donate its proceeds to the rapper's nonprofit organization Social Works.

Over the past 12 months, Chano has proven to be a hometown hero for Chicago. First, he donated a whopping $1 million to Chicago Public Schools, then he upped the ante by vowing to donate $10,000 to a specific CPS for every $100,000 Social Works raises.

"We can’t think of a better ambassador to help Nando’s celebrate the Grand Opening of our flagship Chicago location, and to help support public education in a city we love," said Sepanta Bagherpour, Nando's USA vice president of marketing, in a statement to DNAInfo
