Miguel performs in concert during day 2 of Primavera Sound 2017 on June 1, 2017 in Barcelona, Spain.

Even though Miguel has been busy cradling listeners with his silky covers over the last few months, the Wildheart crooner has returned with some new original music.

After whipping up a successful collaboration with Travis Scott on "Waves", Miguel taps the Houston upstart again for his latest track "Skywalker." The celebratory songs finds Miguel thrashing his haters and appreciating life. “Celebrate everyday like a birthday/ Good things come to those who wait up/ But don’t wait to jump in too long/ Don’t sleep, you got to stay up," he sings on the hook.

After Miguel slashes his detractors with his unruffled vocals, Scott slides his way in and puts the finishing touches. "Wilding on my haters/ In my 23s, having a Jordan moment," La Flame sings with Auto-Tune vocals.

Last month, Miguel spoke to Snoop Dogg on his GGN show about his forthcoming fourth album. “Right now, [I’m] just wrapping up a project. I feel like I’ve been creating three projects simultaneously. So the one that’s the most complete is kind of what I’m wrapping up now,” he said. With Miguel returning back on the saddle in terms of dropping new original music, expect a release date quite soon.
