Watch Solange Join Forces With Incubus on 'Aqueous Transmission' in New Orleans

Solange Knowles performs at the 2017 Panorama Music Festival on Randall's Island in New York on July 28, 2017.

After dazzling the crowd with a rousing performance at Panorama last week, Solange ventured over to New Orleans on Wednesday night (Aug. 2) to assist Incubus for a performance of their song “Aqueous Transmission.”

For the "Cranes in the Sky" songstress, it was simply a dream come true. Earlier this year, Solange displayed her fan-girl side when she penned a candid letter to her teenage self for Teen Vogue's June cover story. The letter found Knowles delving into her past phases as a young girl and how she was once the "Rasta-vegan-thrifter-who-is-determined-to-marry-Brandon-Boyd."

Surely enough, several months after voicing her truths, Knowles took center-stage with Incubus singer Boyd to perform the song from the group's 2001 Morning View album.

Earlier this week, Afropunk announced that Solange will headline the first night of their festival on Aug. 26. SZA, Anderson .Paak, Thundercat, Sampha are also billed to perform during the two-day event.
