On Monday (July 31), Stephen Colbert proved to be "The Real MVP" when he gifted Tyler, The Creator a handful of Elizabeth Taylor DVDs along with cupcakes that graced the esteemed actress' face on them.

The gift from Colbert comes after the host featured the "Yonkers" MC for a performance of "911" last week on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The playful discussion between Tyler and Colbert centered around how the rapper first stumbled on the illustrious career of Taylor. “I found a book one day lurking in Barnes and Noble and said, ‘Oh my god, this little white lady got some nice stuff,’ and called it a day," recalled Tyler.

Intrigued by Tyler's lack of awareness of Taylor's classic films, Colbert arranged a date for the two to watch some her of works. To make good on his promise, Colbert sent over four DVDs, along with 12 cupcakes.

Last month, Tyler released his acclaimed album Flower Boy. Because of the project's overwhelming success, a limited edition of Flower Boy will be released on cassette tapes. Take a look at Colbert's gifts to Tyler below.
