Last month, Vic Mensa revealed in an interview with Real 92.3 in Los Angeles that he and Chance the Rapper have entertained the thought of working together again. On Friday (July 28), Mensa doubled down on his initial claims on Twitter when he told fans that he and Chano have "something special" in the works.

"Me and Chano been talking about doing something special for y'all recently, too," said Mensa in a Twitter video. "So shout-out to that boy. We been linking up. You already know that's my man."

Last year, fans believed that there was a potential strain in their friendship after the "OMG" artist scribbled out Chano's face from a photo with he, JAY-Z and Beyonce. Mensa quashed an idea of a potential beef in numerous interviews and even deemed their situation as merely a budding rivalry between two hometown kids.

“We haven’t talked much, but we texted the other day,” Vic said last month in a radio interview with Real 92.3. On Friday, Mensa also released his debut album The Autobiography, which features Pharrell, Pusha T and The-Dream
