Macklemore of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis performs on stage at Manchester Arena on April 12, 2016 in Manchester, England.

After giving his grandmother the best birthday ever in his video "Glorious," Macklemore returns with his sticky single "Marmalade" featuring Lil Yachty

During his interview with Beats 1's Zane Lowe, Macklemore debuted his sugary offering, which is slated to appear on his forthcoming album. The joyous record finds the Seattle star skating through the track with the aid of Auto-Tune.

"Can’t nobody get up in my car today/ Back seat feeling like a charter plane/ Bumping Silkk Da Shocker, 'Charge it to rhe Game/'/ Paint dripping like I’m whipping marmalade," raps the "Thrift Shop" MC.

His counterpart, Yachty, makes his presence known with a whimsical verse of his own. "All my n---as keep that toaster with them like a Pop Tart/ Make her moan and she sound just like Mozart," spits Lil Boat.

In regards to Ryan Lewis' disappearance on his new album, Macklemore told Lowe that  "it was a mutual decision back about a year ago" for the two to go their separate ways, after working together for 10 years. He also praised Lewis for his newest collaboration with Ke$ha, signaling no bad blood between the "Can't Hold Us" tandem.

"Ryan is doing some amazing things. He just put out 'Praying' with Ke$ha and I got the new album coming out. Ryan and I have always collaborated with people, too. So nothing on that front is different. This album has definitely been a different experience and in a lot of ways, a lot of fun." he said.
