Playboi Carti's "Magnolia" continues to climb up the Billboard Hot 100 -- it currently sits at No. 30 -- but it's not all good news for the newly named XXL Freshman: He was reportedly arrested late Thursday night at LAX for domestic battery.

According to TMZ, Carti was embroiled in a heated confrontation with an unnamed woman once they exited the terminal. Sources say both Carti and the woman were engaged in a shoving match, which ultimately led to him pushing her, grabbing her backpack and forcing her into an Uber.

Because of the skirmish, Carti was arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery. As for the woman involved, she was let go without any charges. On Friday morning (July 7), Carti was released and posted $20,000 in bail.

Despite this mishap, the budding rapper has been on a hot streak. Last month, he performed "Magnolia" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and received a huge co-sign from JAY-Z when he dubbed the record "incredible" during his Twitter spree.
