DJ Khaled & Ray Liotta Team Up for Another Apple Music Commercial Announcing the Death of CDs
"Major key alert -- CDs are dead man. They're finished," yells the chart-topping producer.
If CDs weren't already dead, Apple Music's newest commercial with DJ Khaled and Ray Liotta is looking to be the nail in the coffin.
In the commercial released Thursday (June 29), the chart-topping producer and Goodfellas actor are hanging out in the gym, exercising on the treadmills, when Liotta starts to fidget with this CD player, loading a new disc mid-workout.
"Major key alert -- CDs are dead man. They're finished," yells Khaled.
While Liotta pleads the case of luddite, Khaled counters with the advantages of subscribing to Apple Music and having "the best hits" all on his iPhone. At Liotta's request, the hit-maker plays his 2011 Drake-featuring track "I'm On One" to prove his point and close the commercial.
Khaled and Liotta first teamed up for Apple last year in a nail salon in an ad Khaled on Thursday referred to as a "classic."
