Shaquille O'Neal attends the 2017 Turner Upfront at Madison Square Garden on May 17, 2017 in New York City.

Shaq will serve as the DJ under his alias DJ Diesel for the NBA Awards.

With the inaugural NBA Awards set to kick off tonight (June 26) in New York City, players and celebrities in attendance will be entertained by the lively set of Shaquille O'Neal aka DJ Diesel.

All throughout the night, DJ Diesel will keep the show going with his eclectic hip hop playlist featuring Future's "Mask Off," JAY-Z's "P.S.A.," Drake's "Passionfruit," Notorious B.I.G.'s "Hypnotize," and Kendrick Lamar's "DNA."

Besides being an indomitable force throughout his 18-year career in the NBA, Shaq has also proven to be a hip hop savant. In the '90s, Shaq released four albums with his first two, Shaq Diesel and Shaq Fu: Da Return, going platinum and gold, respectively. His two biggest songs "What's Up Doc? (Can We Rock)" and "(I Know I Got) Skillz" became top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.
