JAY-Z Could Be Headed on Tour This Fall

JAY-Z is looking to heat up the summer with several headlining festival gigs (The Meadows, Austin City Limits and Made in America) as well as a forthcoming album titled 4:44 dropping on Tidal and Spring exclusively on June 30, but the rap mogul may wait till next season for a proper tour.

Sources tell Page Six that a JAY-Z tour was initially slated for summer but "has been moved to fall because of the kids.” His wife, singer BeyoncĂ©, reportedly gave birth to twins at a Los Angeles hospital this past weekend.

The trek would be in support of 4:44 and most likely be produced and promoted by Live Nation, which recently signed a 10-year touring deal with JAY-Z worth a reported $200 million in May.

His previous tours have been joint ventures including 2014's On The Run Tour with BeyoncĂ©, 2013's Legends of the Summer tour with Justin Timberlake and 2011's Watch the Throne tour with Kanye West -- with the exception of 2013's Magna Carter world tour. No word on whether he'd team up with a special guest for this potential run or ride it out solo.

Billboard has reached out to JAY-Z and Live Nation reps for comment.
