Halsey performs onstage during the 2017 Billboard Music Awards at T-Mobile Arena on May 21, 2017 in Las Vegas.

Halsey and Quavo sound damn good on a track together, and that's no "Lie."

For the Hopeless Fountain Kingdom cut, produced by Lido, the cinematic, hauntingly beautiful track features incredible vocals from Halsey, and a few fire bars from the Migos member himself.

During a Twitter AMA session, the singer said the track -- which hones in on the frustration between two lovers -- was one of the most difficult for her to record. She kicks off the track with powerful imagery, singing "Breakfast is cold, as cold as our bed/ I'm watching you choke down the words that you said/ I watch you devour, mistake me for bread/ Well boy, is you fed? Or are you misled?"

Quavo comes in for verse two, rapping, "Your mouth make a hurricane/ You notice that we in love/ That's something we cannot change/ It's the plans we should arrange (plans)."

The charismatic MC has had a crazy hot streak in recent weeks and this track is one more he may soon be adding to the scoreboard -- Quavo already has 10 tracks on the Billboard Hot 100.

Listen to the emotional track below and catch Halsey on her North American tour kicking off on Sept. 29 in Connecticut.
