After passing out at a Los Angeles airport early Friday morning (June 2), Brandy has been released from the hospital, A.P. reports.

In a statement made by publicist Courtney Barnes, the R&B singer has been swamped with obligations ranging from concerts to personal appearances. Ultimately, the demand was too much for her to handle.

"Brandy has been released from the hospital and is now at home resting. She has been traveling extensively as part of an ongoing tour and several personal appearances. In recent days she has taken more than 10 long haul flights including internationally," says Barnes.

Earlier, TMZ reported that Brandy collapsed on a Delta flight in LAX prior to its departure to New York's JFK airport. Alarmed by her fall, passengers quickly ran to her side in order to assist her. Brandy was then escorted from the plane to a nearby hospital where she was reported to be in stable condition.

"The stress of all of the traveling and working so incessantly has exhausted her,"  the statement read. "She will be relaxing for the next few days."
