Dreams do come true. The timeless adage now applies to Post Malone after he met his hero, NBA legend Allen Iverson.

A year after the famed Philadelphia 76ers guard praised the "White Iverson" rapper for his dedication song, Malone met the song's muse in Los Angeles. Footage shows Malone gushing at the sight of A.I. With "White Iverson" blaring through the speakers, The Answer bops his head and later connects with Malone for a handshake.

"I met the legend last night and there’d be no 'White Iverson' without him," Malone tells Billboard in a statement. "I'm still tripping at how sick it was, and as A.I. says, 'The culture has no boundaries.'"

Malone's night ended on a high note when he posed in a picture with Iverson. He posted the flick on Twitter with the caption: “FINALLYYYYYYYYYDMRNEJSOFBRVRI."

After a successful debut album titled Stoney that spawned two top 20 hits ("Congratulations" and "White Iverson") on the Billboard Hot 100, Malone is currently putting the finishing touches on his sophomore effort Beerbongs & Bentleys.
