RZA Helps SZA Announce 'CTRL' Album Release Date

SZA Stans can rest easy. Her debut album CTRL has finally received a release date -- and it's not too far away.

In a video posted on Twitter by her label boss, Top Dawg Entertainment ceo/founder Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, on Wednesday night (May 24), Wu-Tang Clan's RZA helped deliver the special message.

"Yo, peace and blessings. My name is RZA from the almighty Wu-Tang Clan. I'm zoning in with my homegirl SZA," he begins. "Cut loose the drama, no melodrama, rise to the top, claim your karma and it's my honor to drop this lesson, it's my honor to give this blessing," adds RZA as the date "6.9.17" flashes across the screen featuring the R&B songstress and a pile of old-school computers.

Previously released cuts from SZA's debut include "Drew Barrymore" and the Travis Scott-assisted "Love Galore."
