Kendrick Lamar Extends DAMN. Tour, Adds YG to Lineup
After announcing plans to take his latest effort (and Billboard 200 chart-topper) DAMN. on the road back in April -- and given the increasing demand for more tickets -- Kendrick Lamar announced Monday (May 15) that 15 additional dates have been added to his new tour, and he's even added YG to the bill.
Coachella attendees were the first to receive a taste of what Lamar's upcoming DAMN. Tour would be like, as K.Dot unveiled Kung Fu-inspired short films at both of his Coachella sets and brought out special guests like Future, Schoolboy Q and Travis Scott for the assist. The first half of the tour will feature Scott and D.R.A.M, while the latter portion of the trek will replace Scott with fellow West Coast rapper YG.
Lamar's DAMN. spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and even went platinum less than one month after its release.
