Twenty-five years in the game and 13 albums later, Mary J. Blige shows no signs of hitting pause. The “Queen of Hip of Hip Hop Soul” announced Monday (May 15) that she’s embarking on a 21-city tour in support of her newly released effort Strength of a Woman.

The multi-city trek is set to kick off in July in Chicago at the Chicago Theater and will make stops across the States before closing out the tour in early September. Although Blige's Strength of a Woman packed on features from hip-hop heavyweights like Kanye West, DJ Khaled and Missy Elliot, the "Thick of It" crooner kept the bill short and simple, tapping Grammy-winning singer Lalah Hathaway as an opener.

Mary J. Blige's latest single "Thick of It" earned the singer her longest-running No. 1 single to date and later scored a Billboard 200 chart-topper as Strength of a Woman rests at No. 3 on the May 20th chart.
