The Weeknd launched pop-up shops in eight different cities this past weekend from Friday, May 5 through Sunday, May 7. On Saturday morning (May 6), fans lined up around 6 a.m. on Fairfax Ave in Los Angeles outside the 424 store for a chance to cop merchandise from the singer Starboy 2017 capsule collection.

The space bore minimal design as walls matching the gear were washed with red, black and white, and images of the Toronto crooner as well as his "Starboy" moniker.

Pieces ranged from $27-$300 including a denim jacket that featured a black cross and "Starboy" in white print, that sold out before the second day in Los Angeles. The collection included black bomber jackets that read "Party Monster" -- a nod to his latest single off his third album, 2016's Starboy -- and white bombers with the XO insignia, as well as shirts with crosses, lightning bolts and "Starboy" decorating the sleeves. Items that were also exclusives to the shop featured a "424" on it, signifying the piece was from the shop.
