After teasing that he had "more music" during his Instagram livestream at a DAMN. album signing in Compton on Thursday (April 20), Kendrick Lamar took to Twitter to set the record straight.

"KenFolk. ThankU 4 the desire of always anticipating new music of my own. None is coming. My work will be in our future TDE dates tho. [--] #DAMN," he posted on Friday (April 21).

After the April 14 release of his latest studio album DAMN. (his fourth if you consider 2011's Section.80 his debut), rumors flooded the Internet that a second album would drop in time for his headlining Coachella set that Sunday (April 16). While Lamar performed new DAMN. cuts like "DNA.," "ELEMENT.," "XXX." and "LOVE." and premiered a Kung Fu Kenny short firm at the Indio, Calif. festival, no follow-up dropped [insert sad face emoji here].

S'all good, though. The #KenFolk can just keep bumping DAMN. like LeBron James is and wait on these DAMN. tour dates.
