Over the weekend, Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James -- known for getting new hip-hop heat early -- previewed new tracks from Meek Mill and Nipsey Hussle.

The four-time MVP teased fans on social media when he played a 30-second snippet of a new Meek Mill song on his Instagram story. According to a tweet, the track that he played is reportedly the intro for Meek's forthcoming project. "Lebron James playing that new @MeekMill intro for the album produced by @Nick_Papz on his Instagram story," says Twitter user@MeekMilly_Fan. (Billboard reached out to Meek Mill's rep for comment). The teaser comes after Meek Mill shared three snippets from his forthcoming project on Instagram last week.

King James also offered fans some new tunes from Nipsey Hussle. Titled "Blue Laces 2," Hussle can be heard rapping over a soulful beat. The Los Angeles rapper then chimed in on Twitter. “@Kingjames debuts BLUE LACES 2 on instagram off upcoming VICTORY LAP ALBUM,” Nipsey wrote. Hussle recently gave an update on his elusive album on Twitter. "#VictoryLap the album done...update coming soon," he tweeted out last Thursday (April 6).

Earlier this year, James tweeted out lyrics from Drake's More Life playlist two months before its release. "Sometimes I gotta just make sure that i didn't lose you. Did I?!?! Did I?!?! Did I Lose You," tweeted James, referring to Drake's "Lose You" record.

In similar fashion, James gifted listeners Kendrick Lamar's Untitled Unmastered project in 2016, when he asked Top Dawg Entertainment's CEO Anthony Tiffith to release the project. "Yo @dangerookipawaa after that @kendricklamar Grammy performance, you have to release those untitled tracks asap!!! What's up? Talk to me," he tweeted last February. Perhaps LBJ has heard whatever fire Lamar is dropping this Friday (April 14) as well.
