Despite hitting a few roadblocks in the release of her upcoming sophomore album Joyride, Tinashe is still keeping busy on the mic. Early Thursday morning (March 16), the R&B songbird unleashed her slow-burning single "Flame."

The track finds Tinashe desperately trying to holding on to her companion, despite their fiery love coming to a chilly end. "Tell me that you still got the flame for me/Tell me that you still wanna stay, don't leave," she sings over the pop-centric beat. "Flame" comes after the "2 On" singer unveiled her 14-track project Nightride in 2016.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Tinashe announced her latest collaboration with Pepsi's new music platform, The Sound Drop.

“I’m excited for people to see and hear the music that’s part of this campaign," Tinashe said. "I love having the opportunity to show more about my story and let people into my creative process. I’ll also be doing some things with a couple of other artists; they’re going to be able to put their spin on some of my songs.”

Aside from putting in work in the studio, Tinashe recently starred in a photoshoot with Travis Scott and photographer Terry Richardson for British GQ's latest style issue. The vivacious singer flaunted her edgier side, even snapping a few racy photos with Scott, including one that featured her grabbing his crotch. "Highly sensitive material," she wrote on Instagram.
