"The future started yesterday," spits Freddie Gibbs in his new video for "Crushed Glass." The Eric Nelson-directed visual finds the rapper roaming a sandy desert as he reflects on his whirlwind last few years, which included being accused of rape in Austria in 2015. Last September, Gibbs was acquitted of the sexual assault charges.

The case makes its way into his verse as he raps, "I just beat a rape case/ Groupie b-tch I never f--ked/ Tried to give me 10 for some p---y that I never touched."

Gibbs also reflects on being timid at a younger age and becoming a father after welcoming a daughter nearly two years ago, and even throws in a political dig at the president: "Donald Trump gon' chain us up and turn us back to slaves."

In addition to his new video, the Gary, Indiana rapper also announced his new album You Only Live 2wice, unveiling the set's spiritual cover art. The LP is due March 31.
