In the midst of his feud with Chris Brown, Soulja Boy was reportedly the victim of a burglary at his Hollywood Hills home on Tuesday (Jan. 10).

According to TMZ, a thief broke into his house while the rapper was not home and stole over $20,000 in cash and jewelry. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles police department confirmed a robbery in the neighborhood, but would not confirm the victim's name to Billboard.

After news of the burglary broke, 50 Cent -- who has promoted the rumored Chris Brown versus Soulja Boy boxing match heavily on social media -- posted a screenshot of the TMZ story on his Instagram. "See I told you Soulja boy go booked #thefightstillon," read the caption.

On Friday morning (Jan. 13), Soulja Boy responded to 50 Cent on Twitter. "Shout-out to 50 for the free promo. Stupid ass n---a. Anybody can break in a house when nobody is there. I'll shoot a n---a for my respect," he wrote.

The alleged burglary is the latest setback for the "Crank That" rapper this year. After engaging in a heated war of words with Chris Brown, he agreed to a boxing match with the "Party" singer. He's currently training with Floyd Mayweather in preparation for the bout.

Billboard has reached out to Soulja Boy's rep for comment.
