From Migos to Sly Stone: 40 Misspelled and Made Up Song Titles That Hit No. 1

This week, Atlanta trio Migos scored their first-ever No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with "Bad and Boujee" featuring Lil Uzi Vert. The song holds the distinction, anointed by Donald Glover during his Golden Globes acceptance speech on Sunday night (Jan. 8), as being "like the best song, ever," and also enters the pantheon as one of the most confoundingly misspelled song titles to hit the top of the chart over the past several decades.

But that doesn't mean it's the only misspelled (or straight up made-up) word in a song title to rise to No. 1; "Bad and Boujee" directly replaced The Weeknd's squeezed-together concoction "Starboy," after all, and is the seventh song with such a title to reach the top in the past decade, of 40 titles in all.

From Sly and the Family Stone's "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)" to T-Pain's "Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')" to Destiny's Child's "Bootylicious" and plenty in between, here are 40 misspelled or made up song titles that have topped the Hot 100.
