Lil Wayne has ignited speculation that new music may be in the future for 2017. The rapper took to Facebook late Tuesday (Jan. 3) to post a picture -- hinting at the possibility of three new projects -- with the caption “CV. Funeral. D6.”

In late November, he appeared on the skateboarding podcast The Nine Club and said during the interview, “Just make sure they know that Funeral is coming soon.”

Lil Wayne was largely absent in 2016, aside from a few guest verses and the release of a memoir about his time in Rikers Island -- Gone ‘Til November -- which was released Oct. 11, 2016. A rep for Lil Wayne hadn't responded to inquiries about the potential new projects as of press time.
