Lil Wayne mourned sportscaster Craig Sager's death in a video posted to Instagram on Friday (Dec. 16), saying he's be "gone but never forgotten."

Sager died on Thursday from acute myeloid leukemia. He was 65.

Weezy went on to say how much he respected Sager, despite never having met the man, and complimented his outlandish trademark suits.

"From over here, from afar, you was always admired, you was always loved and everything you ever wore was No. 1 in my book," said Wayne. "Today I actually got a little choked up and it was an emotion that I haven't felt in a long time and it showed me how strong respect can be, for someone I've never met."
