The Hamilton Mixtape came to life on Monday night (Dec. 5) when Busta Rhymes and Joell Ortiz joined The Roots on The Tonight Show to perform a high-energy take on the hit musical's "My Shot." The performance opened with the Roots' Black Thought alone center stage, kicking off the show's iconic tune while standing at the end of a long conference table filled with businessmen watching him.

A curtain then opened, leading to a party scene with Ortiz picking up the flow from behind a podium as the crowd on the floor waved their hands in the air like they were at a packed nightclub. Just in time for the final verse, Rhymes emerged from the shadows wearing a coat with an enormous white fur lining to rip his bars from the middle of the moshpit.

The Mixtape is aiming to debut at No. 1 on next week's chart, with estimates of between 175,000 and 200,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Dec. 8.
