Common, Usher & Janelle Monae Pay Tribute to the Obamas at BET's 'Love & Happiness: An Obama Celebration'
The hip-hop community will always be indebted to President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama after bringing hope to America as the first black family to occupy the White House.
To thank the powerful couple as Obama's eight-year teunure nears its end, some of Hollywood and music's finest -- like Common, Usher and Janelle Monae -- performed at BET's Love and Happiness: An Obama Celebration, which aired on Tuesday (Nov. 15).
Viewers also were elated to see some of actors Samuel L. Jackson, Angela Bassett and Bradley Cooper speaking fondly of the esteemed couple and thank them for an incredible run.
