Controversial Nightline interview and Birdman beef aside, Lil Wayne is still putting in work for his forthcoming album Tha Carter V. With the LP being held hostage by Cash Money, fans continue to ponder if he'll ever be able to release his elusive project.

On Thursday (Nov. 10), a ray of hope shined through Instagram when producer Scott Storch posted a picture of him and Weezy in the studio with the caption reading: "Election is over and storch is at least here to make hits ------@liltunechi_c5 #weworking."

The chemistry between Wayne and Storch has proven to be very strong in the past. The tandem locked in on Wayne collaborations like Chris Brown's "Gimme That (Remix)," Fat Joe's "Make It Rain" and Mya's "Lock U Down."

After being criticized by the masses for his interview with ABC's Nightline due to his Black Lives Matter comments, it's good to see the New Orleans rapper returning to his natural habitat: the studio.
