Run the Jewels Announce 'Run The World' 2017 Tour

Killer Mike and El-P of Run The Jewels
C Brandon/Redferns

Killer Mike and El-P of Run The Jewels perform on stage during the 1st Day of the Reading Festival Richfield Avenue on Aug. 28, 2015 in Reading, England.

Who run the world? This time around, it's Run the Jewels.

Sure, Beyonce may have affirmed that it's girls who run the world but come January 2017, the torch will be briefly passed to Run the Jewels. The hard-hitting rap duo will be making stops in major cities across the U.S. and Canada on the first leg of their Run The World tour.

The tour announcement comes in conjunction with recent news of the duo's upcoming album RTJ3. Recently, the album's lead single "Talk To Me" debuted as part of Adult Swim's Singles Program and the two also stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to put their racy rap spin on what Colbert said will be "an instant holiday classic" called "The Halloween Wiggle."

No official release date for RT3 has been announced, but with the tour starting in January here's hoping it will be sometime soon. In the meantime, check out the full list of tour dates below.
