2016 has been a great year for Anderson .Paak. The Los Angeles-based rapper/singer started the year off by releasing his sophomore effort Malibu back in January, then dropping Yes Lawd! earlier this month, a collaboration with producer Knwledge (under the name NxWorries). Now, .Paak continues to bless the Internet with funk by releasing an official video for one of the Malibu highlights "Come Down."

The clip takes place "somewhere in Malibu," with .Paak and the Free Nationals hyping up an already electrified party full of dancers. In between the movin’ and groovin’, the camera follows other lively partygoers, including two domino players in a spirited argument with a man who can’t hold down his liquor, while .Paak drums along on-stage.

According to Complex, the L.A. native wanted to channel the greats with the new visual, attempting to create a vibe along the lines of "the iconic artwork of Ernie Barnes’ Sugar Shack and Marvin Gaye’s cover for I Want You.”
