While the 2015 film Straight Outta Compton offered the world a glimpse into N.W.A's career and the sudden death of Eazy-E, the late rapper's daughter isn't quite satisfied with the way her father was depicted in the movie. Ebie Wright has created a Kickstarter fund to raise money to support her forthcoming project and tell-all documentary, A Ruthless Scandal

Ebie's mission for A Ruthless Scandal is to expose the discrepancies within the story of her father's death, and the individuals who may have had ulterior motives during the time leading up to the rapper born Eric Wright's passing. Despite wanting to shed light on her father's final days, the documentary will also highlight the "Boyz-N-Da-Hood" MC's "accomplishments, his personal life and, really, the aftermath of his demise and what happened to us," she said in a recent interview with Rolling Stone. "We never felt the story that was told to the public was the truth. It's just something that has always pained us."

Eazy-E died in 1995 from complications of AIDS, a death that has inspired numerous conspiracy theories. While many may believe the Compton rapper's legacy left his children and family an abundance of wealth, Ebie says her life was far more difficult than the public believes, a topic the documentary will also discuss. "People have the perception that we were all left everything of his and his kids are good and life is peachy keen, but it's really not", she said. "It's really a tragic story. And it's just time; it needs to be told."
