Flavor Flav Responds to Hannibal Buress' Face Kick on 'Eric Andre Show': It 'Never Happened'

If you thought Flavor Flav's appearance on The Eric Andre Show was completely insane. You'd be right. But the Public Enemy member wants to make it clear that at least one part of the show was fake.

After the 90-second clip picked up attention online, Flav posted to his Facebook page on Tuesday (Oct. 4) stating that Hannibal Buress' kick to his face did not actually happen. 

"That's some Bullshit editing done to disparage Flav. Yo Eric Andre - FUCK YOU for that move gee," he wrote. 

Flav's guest interview starts out innocently but soon goes off the rails when an unintentional crotch-grab from a sound guy turns into an altercation with Flav threatening to punch Andre in the face.

From there, Andre defuses the situation by turning his desk into a bathtub, stripping down and getting in. Then comes Andre's sidekick Buress with the roundhouse. 

 

While Andre and Buress were obviously having fun with the gag, Flav was taking it seriously. He continued to rant on Twitter:
