Kid Cudi performs on stage during Lollapalooza 2015 at Grant Park on Aug. 1, 2015 in Chicago.

Kid Cudi's new album Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' won't be coming out Friday (Sept. 30) night as expected, but the rapper has still delivered some new music: the Pharrell-featuring "Surfin'" and "Frequency."

The heady "Frequency" was actually first released in March, but is now available to buy for the first time.

Meanwhile, "Surfin'" is the kind of up-tempo feel-good banger you'd expect (and hope) from a Pharrell team up, funky horns and all. On it, he touts with confidence that he's too busy making his own waves to be riding on waves, then goes on to state he's surfin' on his own wave. Ride it Cudi.
