"I'm Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, or is that one and the same?," asks a menacing, digitally altered voice at the top of Ty Dolla $ign's latest project Campaign, released today (Sept. 23). The speaker continues with a timely observation in light of the rampant cases of police brutality on unarmed black men, just before a second voice enters offering an Obama-esque message of hope.

"We standing strong, we moving forward, we ain't backing down," the voice testifies. "The time is now like no other. Tell my sisters, my brothers, love one another. Be there for each other. It's easy to quit, say no, to turn the other cheek. Nah, we campaigning now."

Despite the politically charged intro, the 16-track set is Ty Dolla $ign's personal paean to living the high live. Campaign blends club anthems ("3 Wayz" featuring Travis Scott, "??? (Where)" featuring Migos and "Campaign" featuring Future) and slow-ish jams ("Juice," "Zaddy," "Hello" and "R&B") in equal parts. The project follows the West Coast innovator's 2015 Atlantic Records debut Free TC.
