While it has been two years since J. Cole released his platinum studio effort 2014 Forest Hills Drive, the Fayetteville rapper continues to hit the road for numerous festival gigs. Now, Cole is headed to his second home, Queens, for the Meadows Festival, coming to New York's Citi Field in Flushing Meadow Corona Park on Oct. 1 to 2.

J. Cole replaces former Saturday night headliner The Weeknd, who recently announced his new album and debuted his Daft Punk-assisted single both titled "Starboy." The Toronto crooner will no longer be performing at the Queens festival due to "unforeseen scheduling conflicts," per a release.

J. Cole joins Kanye West, Chance The Rapper, Kygo, Empire of the Sun and The 1975 as the festival's marquee acts.
