Shooting guards know that you have to hit while your hand is hot, which is why it makes perfect sense that Cleveland Cavaliers forward Iman Shumpert dropped a new single, "Glory," on Tuesday, just days after his surprise cameo in Kanye West's "Fade" video. Shumpert, who has a child with "Fade" star fianc√© Teyana Taylor, prominently samples the hook of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Heads Will Roll" on the four-minute trap track.

"Ya'll gonna pay for my struggle/ People love a true story," he spits at the open. "But people want you to suffer/ Cuz they ain't never been in your glory/ They ain't never had no money/ They can't understand no shoppin'." The track touches on material things (buying land and his kicks, which apparently are harder to get than his... lady friend), the fleeting nature of fame and the importance of tucking your chains.

Shumpert, who released a six-track mixtape (Shumpman: The MD) in January, hits his best line about halfway through when he makes a winking Game of Thrones admission: "I'm obnoxious and I know it/ I go King Joffrey and they know it/ Watch these people head roll."

Last year Shumpert also hit the studio to record his own version of Drake's "Hotline Bling," switching it up as "Highlight Reel."
