Meek Mill recently sat down (on his very cool bike) to chat with My Mixtapez’s Charm La'Donna about everything from his beef with Drake, his upcoming mixtape and how growing up in Philadelphia helped shape the artist he is today.

Everything We Know About Joe Budden, Meek Mill & Drake's Internet Beef

Mill’s beef with Drake all started with a tweet sent over a year ago and ended with a series of diss tracks that had most claiming they were Team Drizzy -- but that didn’t stop Meek Mill.

“I remember last year just watching everybody go against me about a diss record. I used to look at it like ‘Yo you really think this is gonna stop me? You really think him telling me I’m going on my girlfriend’s tour is gonna stop me?’”

It certainly didn’t. The Philadelphia rapper delved into his inspirations for Dreamchasers 4, a “mixtape slash album” he has been promoting since winter.

“This mixtape right here is my re-introduction back for the people who doubted me but my inspiration was for the people who tried to bury me. At one point I was looking at the internet world looking like they were trying to bury me.”

Mill also said he’s been working with new, up-and-coming producers on the project.

Not only did Mill touch on those fiery subjects, he also went on to define his new idea of success and how he wants to perpetuate that message to the youth. “My new definition of ‘gangsta’ is go get your mom a house, go get the person that’s been taking care of you your whole life a house, put them in a position where they don’t have to work for the rest of their life.”
