Vince Staples is returning with a new six-song EP, Prima Donna, due out Aug. 26 via Def Jam/Artium/Blacksmith. The release will serve as the official follow up to Staples' 20-song double-disc debut album, Summertime '06, which dropped last summer.

Prima Donna is set to feature verses from Kilo Kish, who appeared twice on Summertime '06 ("Dopeman" and "Surf"), and A$AP Rocky, with production from DJ Dahi, James Blake and Artium boss No I.D., who signed Staples to Def Jam. "Vince has really begun to establish himself as an artist’s artist and a new voice for the new generation," No I.D. said in a statement accompanying the news.

Along with the EP, fans will also be treated to a short film directed by frequent Kanye West, Frank Ocean and Bruno Mars collaborator Nabil Elderkin, who also directed West's "Paranoid," Ocean's "Swim Good" and Mars' "Grenade," among others. Additionally, 5,000 copies of the EP will be released on vinyl, each signed and hand-numbered by Staples.

Prima Donna's vinyl run will be available for pre-order this Friday, Aug. 19.
