ScHoolboy Q's forthcoming album Blank Face LP won't be carrying the crying face of Michael Jordan after all. In a sit-down with TMZ Live, the California rhymer set the record straight on his album art, which was widely reported to feature the MJ meme.

"The fact that people think I would actually use that as my album cover, it's funny," he said. "I actually trolled the people, because as soon as I put it on my Twitter, everybody just said, 'ScHoolboy Q album cover, ScHoolboy Q album cover, ScHoolboy Q's artwork,' but then that defeated the purpose of what I was doing. I have a concept behind it called Blank Face, and late last night, I put up the Donald Trump cover, but I had a series of covers I was going to put out."

He did admit that he tried to make the Jordan meme his cover. "I even tried to make it my album cover and I called my managers and Top and them, I'm like, 'You think we could possibly see if we could get this cleared?' They're like, 'Nah, I doubt we can do that.'"

Q notes that his team didn't reach out to Jordan's camp because he didn't "intend on selling it."

Soon after, he posted the "official" artwork on his Twitter.
