Fat Joe Says He Wanted to 'Keep It New York' by Recruiting Jay Z for 'All the Way Up' Remix: Listen

Fat Joe and Remy Ma's street anthem "All the Way Up" gets a new plus-one with fellow New Yorker Jay Z. The remix debuted as a Tidal exclusive during a Yankees game on Tuesday night (May 24).

Joey Crack stopped by Billboard HQ hours before the remix's debut and while he wouldn't name names, revealed his mission statement with the "All the Way Up" remix.

"The world will know who's on the remix," the Bronx rapper said with a smile. "I turned down some really really really big names for the remix. Like, the biggest guys on Earth but was just like, yo, I wanna keep it New York.' So hopefully I win on my roll of the dice but I'm excited for the city."

"It had to happen," he adds of the Hov collaboration. "It was something on my bucket list forever. God blessed us and it came true. I couldn't sleep this morning because I'm so happy for the people."
